Anyone out there installed a Sonance iport yet?

It looks really cool, but I'm not sure I want to cut such a large hole in my friends' wall for just a fad.

You can actually do more wit the docking station from apple (Ten Tech). You cannot change playlists with the iPort.

Actually, since you are utilizing the ten tech ir interface while using the iPort, the iport can do everything the ten tech peice can do and more. All 17 of the ten tech Ir codes are on my website for download in RTI format but can also be used as pronto hex.

If you want a lower budget option, here's one:

There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

I wouldnt consider the ipod a fad in the least bit. Its more like a revolution, that we, as an industry, need to grasp. I too at first thought it was a fad, but now can't live without mine, from the iFM module in the car to the iport at home, when I'm not sitting down for a good listen, I love the lil bastage.
