I have a PVR and the platinum remote. In SAT mode, the volume buttons control the TV volume. I have a home theatre system and I have set AUX to control the receiver. Can I program the remote to contol the AUX volume in SAT mode rather than switch modes constantly - AUX for volume and SAT for channel selections?

I have certainly read the manual (could not find a reference to the ability to control AUX volume in SAT mode), and I called Dish but they could not offer any help.

If you know how to do this or you can find an online reference, I would be most appreciative.

jcking2,
Follow this link to the remote control owners manual on dishnetwork.com and follow the instructions listed on page 12.

I hope this helps.
