heres the deal. i have a pair of yamaha ir codes 78 7e and 78 7f. i need to convert them to something i can use. problem is i tried to decode them in yamaha's rav edit and it gave me hex as 90001 0000 0000 0001 0078 007e for the first code. pronto edit cant do anything with that. rti's software cant either. any ideas?

the 2 i am looking for are discrete on and off for the ysp1. the yamaha rxv2500 remote can output these codes. thats how i usualy get most of my discretes. i am stuck on this one.
rav edit converted the 78 7e to hex 9001 0000 0000 0001 0078 007e but when installed in pronto edit and downloaded to a pronto remote it doesnt work
ideas

Sorry, I don't have a 2500 remote handy, or I would just point it at my 5200 and learn it for you... I did notice that the codes are not the same in your two posts, but I'm sure you checked the syntax when you were doing this... (90001-9001)
If we have one on display, I'll try to do it tonight...

There is a chance the documentation provided by Yamaha is wrong. I did find an error in the extenced IR code for the RX-Z9 but it was obvious. I think I would try:
On 7E 7E Off 7E 7F
These are the common used on receivers.
