Xantech just introduced a plasma proof ir receiver called the 490-90. I'm fascinated to hear of any experiences, good or bad, with this product.

I'll buy one tomarrow being as I have to go there tomarrow . I won't be able to test it until two mondays from now . (installing one then)
Funny thing is , I can buy Xantech from my Distributors for less than direct .

IT'S too big , picture one of their brass targets then make the eye diamiter the size of a 50cent peice . It looks like a remote eye on steroids .It's ugly and too bulky , I won't be buying one to test.

I agree it is too big, but as hard as it it can be to find a reliable RF friendly receiver, the 490-90 works rather well.
