I have not used this specific system from them but they make excellent products and it looks like an outstanding turnkey solution.

I discovered Kinetics through the Walters-Storyk site after my last painful Acoustic Innovations install in 2000 (old AI dealers know what I mean).

I signed up in Spring 2001 just based on what I saw on the site and in the catalog. Also, the fact that WSDG specified their products on their projects was a huge plug.

I didn't have a project until after Sept., and lo and behold, there they were at CEDIA-'01 in Indy.
I felt even better about the decision after seeing the quality if the samples and talking to them.

I use their products and recommend them as often as possible. They represent something rare in the custom a/v... a no-BS company marketing acoustic treatments to our channel.

Whenever I see articles or threads on the tweaks forum where guys are using "audiophile" room treatments or a caulk of some "proprietary" formula, I begin to boil over. Some opportunistic jagoff took a common item from another industry and rebadged it for our channel with frilly adjectives and BS claims.
This is so they can throw on a massive markup to fleece the audiophiles and DIY tweaks that are dumb enough to believe that a home theater was the very first time that anyone thought to isolate or shape the acoustics of a space.

It's no wonder many architects and builders think most A/V guys are clowns.

Well now that I have said my peace, I will say that Kinetics is the real deal, and I am happy to see a "real" solutions provider become more known in the industry. More A/V pros need to know about the solutions available from companies like Kinetics & Quiet Solutions, as well as the numerous effective, low-buck solutions that are available at your local building supply or gypsum supplier.

This is going to sound like a commercial but here it goes. While I haven't received my first order yet I will say that if their products are anywhere near as good as their service and support then they will be spectacular. In an industry where we can regretably spend a lot of time throwing a company under the bus, this the type of company that just may step in front of it for you - They did for me! Greg at Kinetics is top notch, and no, I don't work for them and never did;)
with all do respect... i had no idea that you had an experimental surgery to have your balls removed.

Numerous Questional Experiences with AI, First Impressions and TDA prompted me to look elsewhere... Found Kinetics around 2000 and they definatly are the real deal.

THey're products to completely isolate are room are incredible. their panels are top notch, and the people are easy to work with.

Great combination.

Can one of you guys email me with approx. cost of a 16x22x10'tall room. Whatever your best guess is. I have a price list from them but haven't met with them yet and wasn't sure of all the components that need to go in a room. Individually they look pricy...when you get everything together for the whole room how much am I looking at and what types of margins are you guys making on this stuff?
