Anyone using a rotary or slider VC that has a light "feel"?

I've been using speakercraft, but would like one that has lighter detents between steps.

Thanks

Sonance VC60S slider is very classy...only one I use.

For what it's worth, and I'm no pro, I just put the Buffalo Electronics in my own home. This one.......

I'm very happy with them and the price was right.

Please don't flame me if you guys think they're junk!!!

Yeah, what he said -

And him too. Plus, they are impedance-matchers.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

We almost exclusively use the ELAN V·Series High-Power Electronic Stereo Volume Control. Do away with the traditional rotary knob, opting for a sleek ‘keypad-type’ look with low profile buttons. Eleven micro-miniature LEDs provide discrete, yet easy-to-see, volume level feedback. Large, user-friendly volume UP and DOWN buttons make adjusting the level easy. The MUTE button mutes volume completely. Built in IR receiver and remote control included. It costs a little more but well worth it!

Have to specify VC60SX for matching on the Sonance. VC60S not matching.

I use the Sonance too. I never have problems with the controls. I do have problems, however, with slider controls versus the rotary ones. The problems come from guests in people's homes that think that they are a light dimmer. They look so much like the dimmer controls (which I guess is the objective) that it is hard to tell the difference. Sometimes they turn up the control, thinking that it will turn on the light, then forget to turn it back down. When the music system gets turned on, the people in that room may get blasted. Sometimes I label the control with black over clear labeling tape to prevent the confusion.

Precisely why I only use the Nile Auto-Muting VCs. [Link: nilesaudio.com]

They are quite cool, but no slider unfortunately.
