I am programming a Via! and my client wants to have direct access from his Denon Receiver. I have gone to Denon's web site and found the codes in text format. (1's and 0's) How do I use these codes?

Binary code is representative of pulses and pulse widths of a signal... usually transmitted on top of a carrier frequency. Find out what denon considers 0 and 1. An example would be \x80 for 1 and [nul] for 0. Different manufacturers use different standards. Some will actaully translate a single hexidecimal byte into 2 binary bytes. Try converting binary (4 bits) directly into hex and then use one of the various pronto utilities to convert it into a .ccf file. I don't know if Via can use these .ccf files directly, but there must be another utility out there that will do the appropriate conversion if they do not accept .ccf files.
