I've programmed all the home theater mx remote control except the mx-600 (similar to mx-500 with rf capability). I'm having a hard time trying to learn the fast forward from the hd directv tivo remote control. It says "good" when I learn it but after saving it and trying it, it doesn't
seem to work. Does anybody know how to fix this problem? Thanks. I appreciate your help on this.

Make sure that you have fresh batteries in both remotes. Try hokding down the fast forward on the Tivo remote, rather than just pushing it down quickly.

Recent tivo remotes are giving ALL learning remotes problems. To get the FF command you'll need another remote with tivo code to get learn from. Or use the preset code in the mx-600, which is AUX code 090. First clear the FF of any learned command and do the following:

1. press main and ent
2. P-PRO
3. press Tivo device key
4. press AUX, the bottom left device no matter what is now.
5. enter 0-9-0
6. SAVE
7. MAIN
8. MAIN

Thanks for your response. I tried your suggestion and it worked. You
know more than the so called technical support from the manufacturer.
They never even heard of this problem. Thanks again.
