Lonny, Who is going to EMAIL you a 28meg file?

Call Elan tech support with your dealer number and get access or you can email me.
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

Have you made sure the extension is correct on the file? It may be a zip file and needs to be uncompressed. I am sure you checked , but just trying to be helpful. I still have some old. old Via tools programs. If you can't get it to work, send me the file and I will try to open it in 3.2-4.0. -jay

The only way I've succesfully editited files for Via Edit is using the Original FIle location(of course) or doing an EXPORT archive and the Importing it to the new location for editing..... Elans file structure is one of the most insane things I've ever seen. Unless everything is in the correct directory, you'l never get it open for editing.

We got it to work. Called ELan i had to cut and paste the files from the cd to a file on my hard drive. In the end, i got it to work the program that is. The customer's new equipment did not work out as well as planned....

Thanks again for your help
Lonny
