We are locating a DVD player in a remote location (remote from the reciever). The distance is over 100 feet. Is RG6 aluminum braid acceptable, or should we be using copper braid?
Thanks

I have done this using without complications using a serial digital RG-6 from Liberty. Copper core, copper braid, although RG-6 quad sheild with steel core would probably work.

I reccomend MIT's "one wire" - silver clad rg 6/rg 59 and theyre "true 75 ohm" ends for it. We use it all the time for long component video , audio etc. and it works great. The stuff even makes a great speaker cable when you use their T-maxx speaker mods on it. I kid you not. Good luck!
