Although, I must agree about replacing your Bose AV-35 with a real component, I must digress, since I am a Bose Factory certified tech. The answer should be in the setup menu, and as simple as turning on the IR receive feature, however, if the model is really old, it my not have the option, in this case, you must go to BlueDo .com and buy the adapter for $149. Im pretty sure it should be in the menu.

Steve Shoot...For $149.00 you can buy a HTIB on Ebay that'll outperform the LS.......Now that's an easy fix.....

Bose killer: HTIB for $149? I guess that's more than fair.
I was thinking about the sound a cat makes as the vaccuum ingests its tail. That's practically free.
spun bearings...fingernails on a chalkboard...stuck pig...gas...

Speaking of cats...
the "bass" on a Blose system sounds like the thunks my cat made when she took a few spins in the dryer last weekend...
at least she came out smelling nice and fresh!

We can do it my way, or we can do it my way while I yell. The choice is yours. |

So what you're saying is you had a chance to visit Dr. Bose' super secret laboratory where he thinks all this cool stuff up (ie. the corner laundrymat)?

I have actually been to the Bose Mountain...
It's pretty cool. It's the most impressive R&D facility I have ever been in, and I have been in a few.

I still contend that most Bose Lifestyle problems can be solved by unplugging them and setting a real Home theater receiver on top of them.
I would love to see how far some of us could throw one of these things at the installer olympics - probably have to be done in the parking lot. It would be even cooler if we had to use a bit of hand eye coordination by making a basket with it into a wood chipper. I mean, what else can it be good for it's too light as a boat anchor and too flashy for skeet.
sheesh, this is an old thread. Talk about beating a deaf horse. You can't set a new home theater on top of them because of the Bose humpback issue. Better to use the Bose as a fancy art-deco piece on your coffee table. :)

That little hump can be smoothed out by placing the silver doormat under the back tire of the average work van and roling back and forth a couple of times. Only problem is the tire smells like snake oil for a week unless you scrub it with tomato juice. But that's why we get it with the back tire - makes the tailgaiters back off a bit.
