I need to have volume control for 4 to 5 70 volt zones all in one unit, like a 1 rack space or maybe 2.
I know I can make one, but if it's already made that would be even better.

Atlas Sound makes a standard rack mount plate and 70 volt volumes that attach to it.

I've used the Lowell a couple of times now. they work great. up to 10 VCs a plate.

Why not try this kind of solution. Cloud Electronics also makes an 8 channel version. These amps can be controlled via VCA which makes fabricating a panel easy. It also gets rid of the autoformer volume control. Biamp systems also makes similar products.
Crown and QSC are now making 70 volt multi channel amplifiers. The QSC 6 channel model; has front mounted volume controls
