Some burn it off, but being a non-smoker I seldom have implements of fire at hand. I always carry my Buck® "MINIBUCK TOOL"™ and the scissors contained therein usually work. Notwithstanding a dinner engagement I've normally got one of my myriad, multibranded, multi-tools within arms length for larger threads that approach the "twine guage". Although I never display one on my belt, as I find it somewhat gauche. As they might say on Rodeo Drive: "How MidWest!"
Try the SOG Paratool, any of the various iterations of the Leatherman, or the "knock-off" big-boy sized BuckTool. A regulation Swiss Army Knife (large or small) also has the "shear" power to sever the offending textile ~ I once cut 10ga Nakamichi car audio power cable with the scissors in a Victorinox "Classic". If you desire something to meld with that fashionable Electrician's Ensemble' oyou could go for the candy-handled Klein mult-tool, but that might engender an inter-gender incident: Don't let a phruity fone man see it on your belt, lest he invite you to sup on BallParks.

I heard of a Rabbi who just ordered a new Toyota 4-Skinner so he could perform the 'Brit Milah' on the go.

Go to Joke thread. Good advice, albeit 32 replies too late.

Go to Joke thread. True, very true. However, I just said that to direct to another Rabbi joke. Oh, never mind, I'll copy it here: Then there was the enterprising Rabbi who collected the foreskins from the circumcisions he performed. He sewed them together to make wallets. And these weren't just ordinary wallets; if you rubbed one the right way, it grew into a suitcase.

I just said that to direct to another Rabbi joke. I'll cop to having my feelers bent. I thought I was getting a belated "You're ruining the thread" scold. Oh, never mind, I'll copy it here: May as well, Ian's quest was quashed from the outset. Besides, my intimation that it was going to be tough finding motivated and reliable people near "Chronic Acres" (Humboldt County) was not so tongue in cheek. Eureka, what a great little community to live in! I'm sure Ian will eventually find someone who's not "Up in Smoke".

Okay, I set myself up for the "how to remove a thread" cracks...good lord, what has begun here? This thread certainly does not warrant continuation on its own merit! ITS ALIVE!!!

You know what Ian, there may be a "thread" of hope that this post will yield some benefit for you.
Not a one of us has any reason to wish other than you find an able, reliable person to fill your need. (Unless your closest competitors are tuned in.)
You may yet get a bite from someone who doesn't have chronic munchies. (WAIT ! Doesn't "Chronic" GIVE you the munchies?)
Good luck to you, and if I were you I'd edit the title to resemble the original and include Eureka in it. I think the Flying Monkey attack is over. If I lived closer I'd come donate a week of my time just to do penance.

DON'T bite kabster; read the BOLD print !!! It's NBDEER, not NDBEER. Ian's got enough trouble finding help WITHOUT imposters mucking it up.

INSTALLER FOUND In Eureka! Thanks for nothing, QQQ, qqq, NBDEER, & NDBEER, 3 weeks ago a young man walked in with a resume...just out of the coast guard, good attitude, learning ability, & willingness to go under houses. Looks like he'll work out; I haven't noticed an reefer odors yet. Now you can go squash someone else's legitimate efforts in the forums.

If you think this forum is for job advertisements, and that I "squashed your efforts" with a little bit of silliness, maybe you should be sniffing yourself for "reefer odors".
