I think those two words together are like trying to push two similar poles of a magnet together :)
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

Last time we had a pro plasma go down it went to a service center in San Diego,CA.We didn't have the original box,so they had to ship us a case to send it to them in.Big hassle, but no local service for pro products that we could find in the midwest area.

I don't knowe if this helps Art...

Fritz, I have to recommend Wells Gardiner as a Chicago area plasma service company.
Skokie TV service works on pretty much anything consumer, but W-G seems to be as diverse in commercial video service.

They seem to be authorized for everything commercial, and fixed an early Fujitsu PDP for me lickety split in '99, and luckily (knock on wood) I haven't needed them since.

Second that one. We've been trying to get a customer's RPTV repaired for the known HD Tivo problem, and every time the service guy is there he tries to blame the problem on "that guy's wiring", meaning us. Worse yet, he only does when he thinks we're out of earshot. It doesn't seem to faze him that we wired directly from the HD Tivo to his tv across the floor with a set of component video cables....

I have been sitting with the same tv for 2 months now b/c it is no good as well. I called sony they want 700 just to ship not includding any serivce and this also had to go to cali from here in NY. I have yet to tell the customer as they have been out of the country since i got the tv. Waiting to see what his reacation will be....
From what i am told sony cut out all there serivce centers inclduing electrograph!
I don't htink its worth fixing and, so i htink the way to get is upgrade...
