I am posting this in the DSS forum, too.
Some time ago I heard that the new Sony DSS receivers sometimes will not let go of phone lines. Then someone somewhere explained it to me, and it had to do with the voltages sent out by the phone company, or something.... It was something that you could call the phone company and have them do to make the Sonys let go of the line.
Or, of course, maybe I'm an idiot and that whole discussion is on this site somewhere.
Anybody know? Either way is fine, if it will solve my problem and point out to others how to fix this.
