We just got a call from a customer who says each movie he plays in his Denon 755 (1910) DVD player skips slightly once during playback.
I suspect this is a layer change issue, although I've never had it before on this model. I tried checking Denon's website for firmware updates, but no joy, so I just wondered if anyone had any ideas before I swap it over?

Have hime rewind over the spot that skips. See if it skips in that exact same spot again. Chen compare that to known layer changes on the DVD. Then you have your answer.

Yeah, already asked him to do that, he hasn't got back to me yet.
I don't have much doubt that's the issue though, I really just want to know if any of you guys know of a nice easy firmware fix, rather than me bothering to swap it over. :)
