Hey, everbody --
I have run into a couple of problems in houses where video is modulated into the cable system and the cable system has added Digital Cable. Moving the modulated channels up above channel 100 has solved this, but does anybody out there actually know what frequency range is occupied by digital cable signals?

Most of my local area (Los Angeles etc.) is Adelphia, the choice of non-Playboy watching embezzlers.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I would think that it would change per area. For example, my area uses the channel bands between 79 and 85 AND uses 111-114 for Cable modem. Call your local providers tech support.

Thanks for the sensible suggestion. I tried it. Sigh.

MY local provider's number in Glendale California reaches a call corral somewhere out of state. After making four phone calls and spending about a half hour on hold, I gave up.

DOCSIS cable modems operate around 8-15 MHz I believe. Digital cable hits up to around 800MHz. I had to use a band-pass filter for my modulators.
