A friend has asked me to find a remote that will replicate alll the functions of her old remote, which she has lost. Unfortunately no idea of original part number

The system is midi system, the components are
ST-H500
TA-H500
TC-H500
CDP-H500

Have looked through Sony websits to try and find info on original system and remote, but no joy.

Any one either know where to look for info regarding the original remote, IE part numbers etc. Or even a ccf file suitalbe for Phillips Pronto.....or another solution, but she would rather have the original remotes back

Cheers

Yes, I gave her a one for all, but can tget it to run all the functions, have done a quick ccf running on my old iPAQ 5450, but have not found all the hex strings for all the commands, DSP modes etc and she wants her old remotes back...likes them, does not want to change...you know the sort of thing, so back to finding the original remotes part numbers. Sony site not much help though

Unfortunately I live in Jersey, the island, not New Jersey. We are part of the Channel Islands, off the coast of France, but UK passports. One state run telecom company, monopoly, these type of number not available!!!

Thanks anyway

Concept still holds, however... find the appropriate number in the UK - check with your local electronics repair shop. They'll have a phone number for someone that can help...

Good luck,

Norm

Nah, gave up on them, they did not seem to be interested, another reason for the posting!!

Ah well, not too concerned, off to India in a few weeks, two month holiday...hopefully the problem will have gone away when I get back!!!!
