Just wanted to send out a HEADS UP for those of you that do MX/Orion/Aeros remotes. I was adding a component into a client system yesterday and was having issues downloading into the MX-700. I figured that maybe it was a firmware issue so I hit the Live Update button. Took the download and then all Hell broke loose.
To make a long story short after a call to tech and removing all MX Editor software from my lappy and then reinstalling old software I missed two other apptoinments and ended up leaving the clients house with a non functioning system. URC knows that there is an issue and is working on it. They say they will have a fix by Monday.
One thing that is funny, when I told them that after opening my file with the old version after saving it with he new version all of my commands had been wiped off the remote they told me to just re do them.......nice.
Be Careful......and make backups!

That's odd. I just did a couple of downloads yesterday with the 1.12.230 editor without problems. Thanks for the heads up though.

The MX editor just keeps getting better and better.

There's a bug reported with 1.12.230 that will not allow you to import a device. It will not appear in the "Available Devices" window for transfer. URC is working on the problem.

Yes Indeed I noticed that!
When trying to add a .mxd to my home file last night it not only diddnt work , but when i downloaded the file about 80% of the codes were missing ... the LCD buttons were there they just diddnt do anything.

Kinda weird. No big deal ... cause i always keep my files backed up on a CD-R ..... (highly reccomended)
