Some may know this, others may not. Go to Google and in the search window, enter your home phone number, like this 555-555-1212. The results that come back are.........interesting. Click on the link that is provided and you will see a way of securing your privacy. I am not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

It is very convenient for locating directions to a customers home but the potential for abuse seems very large.

It's a bad thing if you value your privacy....

Go to [Link: google.com] to remove from their database.

It has been like that for years now, I remember tripping my friend out on that. Its also a good way to check numbers on your phone call log to see if you want to call the number back. I did not know about the removal tool though, cool learn new stuff all the time.

Tried Googling my home number, my cell phone number, my wife's cell phone number, my work number, my parent's phone number in England.

Nada, what's supposed to happen?

Typing my home number gave my name and my wife's name and our address... Typing my cell gave me nothing (phew!)
