I am part of a small, but well established, custom installer company based in Williamsburg, VA.
We do structured cabling, home theater, central vacuum, security, whole house audio, networking - and other things too. We are short-staffed however, and we could use someone who is able to both run the cables (all low-voltage), and also assist with the A/V side of things.
You would be working as part of a small but close-knit team. We just require an ability and willingness to learn, and a professional attitude.
If you are interested please reply on this thread and I will post contact details.

Hey, Mr. Fisher, I'm in Richmond. I'm a master electrician/electrical contractor who also does LV wiring and HT setups. I've always wanted to form some sort of partnership. I enjoy working with my hands much more than doing office work.
I have an electrician and two helpers in my employ. Right now, we're wiring a big house in Kingsmill; power, phone, coax, some HA, networking, etc. We expect to be there tomorrow. If you feel like it, give me a call: (804) ELECTRIC (353-2874).

Wow, that last post makes me want to set up shop in VA just so I could sub Larry.
Fisher, you may have been searching for entry level guys to switch teams, but IMO if you don't at least look into this, it is a mistake.
