I am currently setting up a Panasonic plasma TH-50PHD7 with a selection of bits
Neuston Media Centre MC-500 Out On DVI-D Denon DVD Player 1910 Out On DVI-D Vision DVI Tuner VTB-100 Out On DVI-D Imerge SoundServer S2003-160 MI Out On VGA
The 3 DVI-D Devices are going into a Gefen EXT-HDTV-441-CO then into the screen via a TY42TM6D (Yet to arrive)
My Problem is the sound server doesn’t seem to give a strong enough signal for the screen to auto normalize (it is severally to the left and down, to far for manual compensation. and violent flicker at the bottom of the picture) i have tried plugging my laptop few the same cable to the screen and it is fine. I have tried plugging the sound server directly into a CRT screen (it is slightly to there left but i can easily compensate)
I have spoken to both Imerge and Panasonic neither can help
I lose the flicker if i send the VGA throw the vision VGA pas through but still poor alignment.
I could go out on the composite or s-vid on the Imerge but on a 50" the quality is poor, which I wont, accept
I think it is down to a weak signal on H/V sync dose anyone know of a booster i could put inline
If anyone has an idea please tell. I am losing a lot of hair

Check out the Extron line. I am sure they have a VGA amplifier.

I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other. |

i have used the same exact set up and the s-video was fine for the aplication. even the composite shouldnt be that bad. I have had a few problems with the imerge maybe its a bad video board.
