I have seen this demo, & had my own comparable "test".

My sister attends FSU & her roommate each had a PC in their respective room. My sister was provided, by me of course, a Max8Com, to protect the PC w/ a printer & scanner, her TV, VCR, DVD & Internet, & phoneline inputs. She has the Router & Cable Modem in her room that is shared w/ her roommate. Her roommate had a Mon$ter surge strip, the colorful one, to protect her PC & attaced devices. I tried to tell the parents PanaMax was better, but they were sold on Mon$ter, as that is what dad had @ home.
A few months later they took a direct lightning strike on their apt building. The PanaMax protected the PC & all other devices. The roommate's Mon$ter surge actually caught on fire, & smoked the PC, printer, TV, DVD & her IPod that was plugged into it. Not a pretty site. I also had a Max8Coax on the TV downstairs & the TV faired fine. Both of the PanaMax units did get damaged, but the connected equipment was fine. The units were replaced by PMax of course. After spending hundreds of dollars to repair the roommates PC, the dad came to me to buy a PanaMax unit. He also bought PanaMax units to replace all of his Mon$ter stuff @ home before the same thing happened there.

I have been a loyal PanaMax dealer for the last 12+ years, mainly because of the first demo of "surge strips" they gave me those many years ago when I was in the electrical trade.

Being here in Florida, the lightning capital of the US, REAL surge protection is crucial!

That is not a typo, I use the Mon$ter spelling, just like I use the Micro$oft spelling. I can provide my attys address & phone to answer any lawsuits as a result of this.................

Panamax used to distribute that on CDR format. Once upon a time I had a copy of it.l
