Need recommendations for a solid close captioning decoder.
application: residential, 4 lines should be sufice. source: Y/C (will consider composite or RF input if the data is not transmitted on Y/C, although Y/C output would be a plus) control: need discrete funtion on / off control via trigger, contact closure, RS-232 / 422, or IR.
Thanks in advance,
Tom

Bump!...
I'm looking for exactly the same thing for captioning.
Also need a good quality RS232/422/485 controllable Character Generator. Need to be able to call many simple titles, in/out should be Y/C or composite.
