Hello,

I want to turn my PC into a universal remote. I plan to use an external IR emitter, like the USB-UIRT. I need to get software to build menus (like the Pronto software) and that will "learn" IR codes from other remote controls. The building of menus is very important because a lot of my equipment is not standard AV gear.

I've read about NetRemote and HouseBot.....can someone suggest the best software package to do this?

Thanks,

Kevin

Try going to smarthome.com and then looking up the PC to IR Link.

Works fine for me.

Maybe a little overkill. But, I know they have what you are looking for.
