Anyone have any experience with the 42" EDTV and HDTV Hitachi professional plasmas? Thoughts, comments, etc.

The last Hitachi I did was last year. Customer supplied unit -commecial grade. 1024x1024. No problems, real easy to mount, connect and calibrate. Discrete IR codes too.

I've installed about 4 or so. They fit the bill sometimes and look pretty good. Nothing special. I don't like how it goes to standby with no signal within like 10 seconds...makes it a pain in the ass when setting it up sometimes.

they're not made for high altitude applications.... If you're above 4000 feet, try a different brand.
