Here's one for ya'll -

I have a customer with some Hunter Douglas Duettes with IR Control. We will be using these with a MX-650 Remote and IR flashers at each window. Here's My question - in the past we've had marginal success with geting these shades to operate consistantly. Usually what happens is if a customer has four shades, maybe 2 or three of them will respond to the remote and a second or third button press is needed to get all the shades in their desired position. Has anybody ever tried to hardwire into these and bypass the optical IR sensor? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Don't use IR emitters that blink, they kill about 30% of the IR coming out. Use a Xantech Mouse shield to cover the emitter (light might be affecting it).

I've used codes I got from this site ( discrete hunter search ) with a TSU7000 and I was able to hit the entire room with one shot. Even the shades behind me.

I think someone had cleaned the codes from the OEM remote (that remotehardly works and barely will teach).
