We
use the DYMO RhinoPro 5000, but the widest label
they make is 3/4" - it doesn't fit the whole way
around RG-6 - install looks a bit hoakie with
these labels like that, and they don't like to
stick in the cold. Also, I've had guys go back
after a year and they all fell off. The wrap
feature is nice, but you don't get very many letters
when you use this setting. Maybe this is why
the DYMO is so inexpensive....

Important information for Rhino:

Make sure you are setting the wrap mode correctly for rg6/cat5. When you push the wrap button, you should then push up arrow twice, then enter. Then input your text, multi-line if necessary, push print... Voila beautiful label. Make sure to warm the lable up with your fingers or hands around the wire, the adhesive is heat activated.

I have been using a P-Touch for 20+ years.
They have new labels & labelers. I must have 8-10 of these kicking around. I have found them to be rather reliable. Labels @ all of the Staples & Office Depot in a pinch. The labler below is my latest. the 1' labels work on RG6.

Ecom is also the cheapest place to get refills for almost any of the aforementioned labelers in this whole thread.

Bought this one a couple of years ago it is nice. It is just a custom PTouch labeler made for Panduit.

The best price is not always the best value.

The best way to label for us is using the zip ties with the wide surface to write on (they are made for labelling!). The nice thing is they are quick, fit around lots of wire, and you can slide them up the wire during trimout/final intall. We then wrap all wire with industrial saran wrap to protect wires and labelling. Sorry, but I don't have a brand name for these.

Just bought the Brady. Its awesome. No comparasions, Hands Down. The most flexable, easy to use unit and has tons and tons of differnt tapes, colors, and sizes.

Not bad for less than $400.

I've been using the Dymo 3000 for a month now. No complaints as of yet. I chose the 3000 over the 5000 because it's designed for the residential people and the 5000 is more for the commercial people.
