Ok Guys,

I have gone through one bulb for my DLP in one year, and they are expensive to replace, as if you didn't already know that... Anyways, most of the time, I leave the DLP on only for monitoring my e-mails, and forums. What I wanted to do was to hook up a small LCD display beside my DLP so that I could view my e-mails and stuff throughout the day without having the DLP on. What is the best way of connecting both displays (DLP and 15" LCD) to my HTPC? I want to use the 15 pin VGA input for my DLP and the LCD. Do I need a VGA splitter, or is there something that will display the PC on both displays at the same time?

Thanks,
Mark

THere are LOTS of VGA Splitters out there for just this purpose... I've got a PortAthority 2 Sitting on my desk right now thats was only about $50 if I remeber correctly..

ALso, what Video card is inthe PC? Does it have dual video output? You could hook the second monitor up to that... Or upgrade toa dual head card and that way you coul dhavea movie up on the big screen AND have your email up in the Smaller monitor if need be....

Will that portauthority splitter allow both monitors to display the same thing at the same time?
