How could anyone, including that professional know until they visit your site. Start inquiring about consulting fees, and IF (hooo boy!) YOU can determine what you want (AFTER MUCH RESEARCH) you might be able to use an electrician/low voltage contractor to get the wiring sussed up, and then hang the speakers and place the components yourself. (I'm wonderin') That same contractor should have more experience than yourself in HT installs and speaker placement, so you might get a "bargain basement consult" without calling an actual "full-pop" HT installation consultant.
(DISCLAIMER: Results may vary!)

and..

"and where can i get this installation done?"

In your house silly!

Can someone wipe my nose for me?

Look, stop being a Mongolian; Go to these sites... 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 and then finger it out for yourself. I can't go to your page, it won't display. I don't have that problem with ANY other link left in this forum, or any of the various geocities "mini-pages" I visit to look at people's off-road pictures, so I can't imagine what "magic" you've been able to work, just don't work it on your HT system too. From Larry's description it sounds like your..

CENTER CHANNEL SPEAKER

is not..
CENTERED UNDER YOUR DISPLAY!!

Take a clue from the first word in the description of the speaker in question. Layout diagrams are not hard to find on the Internet, and stores will help you too. Where's the outfit that sold you your equipment? did they desert you? (I'd like to say "I wonder why", but I don't wonder why.)

addendum:, And quit lying on your back like a baby turtle, flipping your flippers around and expecting someone to come and "flip" you over. These people are offering you help, and I haven't seen where you've acted on any of it. You just keep wailing. No one's coming to your house to fix this, EXCEPT the guy you hire. Even there, you need to DO SOME HOMEWORK and RESEARCH YOUR INSTALLER. I'm just waiting for..

Okay, TJ, look here:

It's the same drawing with the speakers added.

Seems intuitive to us, but I don't mind explaining simple stuff.

Sheik, his image did render for me.

I went right to your picture Larry, and you are a SCOUT for helping him. All the helplessness was truly tasking my patience. 'junkie: send Larry a check.

That room looks ominously similar to my den, and it's going to be a compromised install forever unless you can get your TV square with the room. Get your display out of the corner in whichever room avails itself to that end - it's better for 5.1, and you'll be way ahead if you add more effect speakers as the x.1 wars progress.

I know it sounds laughable, and I'm surprised you're interested. I met a restaurant owner and admired all his stone archways and massive mouldings, corner treatments and pillars. His son works in Hollywood building sets and did work on 'Gladiator'. They carve all kinds of structural stone work out of styrofoam, have it sprayed with stucco or gunite, and then texture it and faux finish it. To heck with the movies, it looks great up close! I met the son and was able to see three other places he was working on. He's built a side business out of doing this in people's homes. Many of the moulding shapes he needs for interior work are readily available, so he can incorporate them into his designs.

You can finish it and be hard pressed to tell it from wood. I've also seen it finished with a glossy laquer and striated to look like marble.

ALSO: Even though it bugs me, styrofoam is used a lot under stucco in exterior architecture. I suppose once that stucco sets it's just as good a substrate as any other. (Mebbe' better out here in "Earthquake Alley".)

Urethane is another choice, and may be more readily available. I KNOW I've seen it in Loew's, and Home Depot probably has it.

There are more suppliers for each, but you've got the reins now, so go forth and discover.

Again 'junkie? Come on little feller; yer on the Web already! Just go to Yahoo and type in your search criteria. My search to find the two sites above was literally: "styrofoam crown moulding", "urethane crown moulding", and "plastic crown moulding". I didn't list all the hits that returned, just so YOU'D HAVE TO GO DO SOME RESEARCH.

No, I don't own stock in Yahoo. When I tell someone about something, they ask "Where'd you find that?". I verbally tell then to search on Yahoo, and then I sit behind them and watch them go to Highway61, Mother, Dogpile, MSN, blah-blah, you name it. Then they clock their heads and whine "I couldn't find it". I take over the keyboard and go to Yahoo, and "voy-la", thar she blows.

ONE CAVEAT: The first page Yahoo returns you will be from people who PAY to be in the index. You MAY find good returns there, but you will also see a little link on the right (top and bottom of page) that says Web Page Matches >

That's usually where the links with more relevance to your search criteria are found. Try this: Type in "mercedes trucks" at Yahoo and see what the uppermost return is. Then hit Web Page Matches > and you'll notice Mercedes Commercial homepage is at the top. The whole concept annoys me, but it keeps Yahoo cookin' financially.

Look, "School's Out for Summer". So "No more Mister Nice Guy!" It's time for little 'junkie to be pushed out of the nest. Searching the Web is too easy, and you've to to take the bit and run with it. It's too bad you didn't have to obtain your food on the Web; in a week's time you'd be an old pro.

Yeah, I just don't get the idea of knowledge sinking in here....TJ, you really should have a pro do the work. You could have a disaster, waiting to happen, on your hands. How do you spend 7 G's and get only 5.1?

I spent more than 7 grand, but I got some of the best stuff you can get....I wasn't aware that you had to buy stuff for 2 theaters. That explains it. Still, spend the money to get at least SOME professional help with it.

You ain't got the MC-12/LX-7 yet, and I'm going to ride you until you do. NO! Wait! I don't have it either! How about if you stay on MY back until I have it! NO! Wait! I need a new house first, and then the next generation Lexicon stuff will be out. Okay! Ride me on the new house and then I'll be too broke for a full-pop Lexicon system.

King, roll credits to the 'junkie for that, all I did was what I'm known for: "See it, Say it!" It doesn't always win friends and influence people, but I cannot do it any other way.

Sheik....you kill me....that's like telling asking a recovering alcaholic to go bar-hopping with you. 7 grand probably wouldn't even buy me the Lexi-Twins but it'd be close. I sometimes wish I wouldn't have spent money on other more necessary things. But...oh well. Who wants to wait for the NEXT generation? The MC-12 won't be replaced until it's a great grand-daddy. One can understand this by the fact that it's already got the input expansion capabilities, enough processing power to put most Mac's to shame, and the ablilty to support completely new firmwares. It already IS the next generation. Too bad I'll have to sell MY next generation, to get one.

God Bless You All for showing the patience, and sheikily the petulance and almost a bit of pestilence, that theatrejunkie has pretty much demanded.

Dear theatrejunkie,
please please please help yourself by taking the advice of these sages, who have learned by looking at things done right and occasionally having to correct things that they and others have done wrong. Your project can be done correctly once much more rapidly and cheaply than having it done twice.

I am reminded of the name of a book by the guy who played the helper on the TS show within a TV show, "Tool Time" -- "How I Did It Myself For Just Under Three Times The Original Bid"

and, like, well, uh, kindly explain how you got your name, would you?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
"The biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place." -- G. “Bernie” Shaw
