I wanted to take some time to let everyone know that the EHX show is coming up soon in Orlando.
The show will have some cool educational sessions and exhibitors. I am excited about the Demo Ally area, which will feature many of the most well known companies in the entire industry, including Richard Gray's, Meridian, Bryston, Faroudja, Sharp, Thiel Audio, Transparent Cable and Straight Wire. These companies will be doing live equipment demos and answering questions for attendees. There will also be many more boot camps and other seminars that cover topics like home networking, home automation and home theater.
The show also offers dealers the chance to get away from the nasty winter that many parts of the country are experiencing right now.
It's worth checking out with its nearly 300 exhibitors, educational sessions and after hours events that center around the custom industry.

I would like to add, that before I begin to sound like a salesmen or something, if anyone is interested in learning more about the show its Web site is www.ehxweb.com. The Web site features sign-up information, and many other elements that are specifically geared to help support the show.
EHX is one of the fastest growing industry shows in the country and we would love to receive attendee feedback that's based on your attendee experience.

And what, exactly, is wrong with sounding like a salesman?

Hopefully in the case of EHX Fred nothing because it's a good show to attend for custom installers.
Some of the things going on at the show include a wireless boot camp, a home theater boot camp, multiroom audio boot camp, the flat-panel boot camp, the tech style boot camp and the project management boot camp.
There will also be seminars on IP-based entertainment technologies, and business management seminars such as how to be a builder partner and closing more and bigger sales.
There are a ton of opportunities here, some of the people involved with EHX include Julie Jacobson, Jason Knott and top level installers, including Bill Maronet and Sean Fields who help to shape the show's curriculum.
Some of the EHX's after hours events are fun too; events such as conference cool-down allows attendess to enjoy a couple cold frosties and talk to their peers in an environment that's much different than the typical show setting.
