Heh. Umm okay. Dan, E-Mail and tell me how much i owe you for suporting our industry by posting a link to a FREE site.

freeloader huh? Like i never posted here before ehh? Like i show no support for this forum and our industry. How do you know that i havent already spoken to DAN and arranged a little swap of advertising? (not that he needs it).

Dont worry, i still wouldnt ban you from the site even thou your a moron.

It may not be my place to say, but this certainly feels like a solicitation for your company.

Others, Am I wrong?

If the consensus is I am in fact wrong, then I will apologize.

I think there should be a paid place we can advertise our companies and offers for new hires.

As for me being a moron, you are certainly entitled to your opinion but I would think a true moron would cross the line of freeloading with your stunt.

I am a true supporter of those who support this site. ie Surf & BlueDo. I always recommend them when people ask where to buy. They never post - follow this link to my business.

Dan, your thoughts please.

OEX you are WAY wrong. IP is NOT advertising for his company. He is spending money for the custom professionals like that are on this site, just as Daniel has done generously for years.
His link is to a user forum.

Yes, you should appologize. No, you are not a mooroon. **

What GotGame said.
Last time I heard posting a link to a free site with free forums for our industry and trying to provide a place where the professionals will eventually have a place to post that is only accessible to the pros isn't freeloading or spamming at all.

Brijaws is spending his freetime and his money to host and run the site himself.

OEX, why not just visit www.integrationpros.com and look around. Let me know if it looks in anyway to be benifiting anyone other than the custom installer?

If its not already there, id be happy to link Dan's site. I did it before. Ill even put a banner in the advertising boxes and point people to this site and any other site that helps the custom installer.

Anyways, i take back calling you a moron - Im sure you feel like a big dope now anyways...

It will be okay.

I have to defend oex even though I think he was wrong on this one. He must be having a bad day, he does not usually fly off the handle like that. Brian, I think the site looks great.

OK I am a DICK. i am SICERELY SORRY!

I looked at the top half of the site and it looked like a photo gallery of an individual company. It burns my ass when freeloaders do come in here and promote their company.

I have only spent 2 minutes at your site but looks great.

Hopefully, no hard feeling. Yeah Mark - the exclamation point at the end of a harsh day. I won't make any excuses though. I was TOTALLY out of line.

Impaqt is right, dont take back the moron bit. Don't ever be scared to call it how it is. Thing are how they are. We just have to have the backbone to support the truth.

Again, please accept my sincerest apologies.

Kevin

Kudos to OEX!!

Anyone can make a mistake, but a real man can admit it.

Off topic but it it reminded me of an old Jack Handy phrase:
It takes a big man to cry,
but it takes an even bigger man to laugh at that man.

Hmm...so I can't see anything larger than a thumbnail unless I register, huh? If I had been able to click on the thumbnails and seen a bunch of cool images it might have motivated me to register. I sure as heck am not going to register so I can click on a thumbnail (unless those thumbnail were realy good nudes). Then again, maybe you're glad not to have me as a member ;-).

You're eating a whole bunch of crow you shouldn't have to just because some guys hammered you. The thread IS inappropriate but he's "one of the guys" so everyone wants to look the other way. This is a forum dedicated to custom installers. He's established a forum dedicated to custom installers. So UNLESS he really did get permission from Daniel, in which case he should have openly stated it in his post, you were (almost) right on, regardless of whether the pics are for his company or a forum. This thread is the equivalent of going in to your competitors store and hanging up a sign for your business. And now the same guys who rant about someone coming into their store for demos and then buying over the Internet will tell me I'm wrong and try to explain to me how it's hunky dory for someone to use someone elses forum to advertise their own.
