Have any of you seen the new onyx? In my opinion it is one of the best plasmas out right now. I think it absolutely makes all the others look bad. supposedly it has more then 1000 shade variations of RGB. everything is cripser etc.
has anyone installed there 65" yet?
I am pretty sure i was one of the FIRST to wall mount this. From what i was told a month ago there were no wall mounts for it. this may have changed since then but if it hasnt this is how you can do it.
get a U3 omnimount, use 2 extenders bars on the top and 2 ext bars on the bottom on one side. on the other side use 1 ext bar on top and 1 ext bar on the bottom. to make this a sturdy mount you have to fabricate 2 L shaped brackets to bolt onto the end of the ext bars on both sides with Holes for a pair of toggle bolts on the other side of the L shaped bracket to go into the wall washers will be beeded so the L shape sits flush with the rest of the mount. this will strengthen the inegrity of the mount.
There may be a mount out now, but if there isnt this is a viable solution. the width between the brackets is very wide and at the time this was the only way i could mount it. all the other sizes, 37,42 and 50 are fine with a regular but damn the 65 was a engineering challenge.

cool plasmas, nice displayable colors, and ATSC tuner w/cable card. I have only seen the specs and price. I would be interested in seeing how they stack up against Fujitsu 40 series.

I wall mounted a 50" Onyx on my wall (recessed in so it's nearly flush) 1st week of Jan. Tweeter had the universal wall mount in stock:Chief model MSP-TW200.
Biggest problem I have is getting the descrete IR codes for it and also a 30' cable.
