I have a job that has three separate amps powering three zones. ALL of the spkrs have and intermittant static emitting from the spkrs at the exact same time (no pattern to how often the static occurs). I have disconnected all inputs and outputs to the amplifiers and ran it off an external generator and the static still came back. We think it is an RF noise issue but do not know why it is in all the spkrs at the exact same time and the exact same duration. It is in a funeral home so the supernatural is not being ruled out!! Any thoughts??

Have you seen the movie "White Noise"? ; )

Are you possibly integrating into a 70volt system? We ran into a similar issue at a church with an old 70 volt system.

The rack that has the three troublesome speaker level amps does feed a line level into a 70v dist. amp for three separate 70 v zones. Does that make sense?? I disconnected the line level connecting the two very early on in the troubleshooting process and the static was still there.
