I posted another thread and received 4 responses as to how to get my receiver programmed. When it says to download the remote codes, does that mean that there are different codes for my receiver other than the codes that are given in he manual?

Most recent Marantz codes are the same for common functions like vol +/-, power on/off, input select, etc.
The manual lists a set of pre-programmed codes for the remote control that was supplied with the receiver that you did not get when buying it used. Forget them.
Buy a used Marantz RC-5000 or RC-5200 and then download from this web site the default .ccf file for your remote. This should have remote codes for all of Marantz's products; receiver, CD, DVD, VCR, video, etc. (it's a big file). Doing this will give you an excellent remote that you can program to control your entire system, and the remote codes you are missing for your SR-7200.
