I've just gotten 3 calls on 85 series Samsung TVs that all have wacky, crazy colors. They are all inside a year old and I'm thinking bad update or bad batch. Anyone seen the same thing? If so, does anyone know of a service menu fix? The one that I got hands on worked after I screwed around with the HDMI cable but apparently became a tumor again the next day.

How does the on screen menus look? How about the installed app such as YouTube, Netflix and such? Do all 3 TVs use the same HDMI cable brand?
If they look fine, then perhaps its the HDMI cable or the HDMI selector board. Since you got it to work after messing around with the HDMI. I would start there. Replace the HDMI cable itself. Plug it into a different HDMI input.
