Is there such a beast out there that will distribute multiple HD feeds to multiple zones simulateously? the customer has 4 plasma screens and would like HD on each, he also has a home office and would like the option of using the plasma in the office as a monitor for his computer.
Need help on this please.

The only problem I have with the S12 is its just a preamp. My client would go for the 8K for the S12, but the extra 5K for the D1650 and then 500 per keypad on top of that. He has double the cost of his system. I guess the upside is the Via Touchpanels that we could incorporate.
Ideally what I was looking for would be something like the DVDO I scan Ultra with DVI ins and outs.

You need a matrix router to do what you want.

www.cbav.com

They will make you a 4X4 component video with or without audio matrix for about 2K retail.

Key makes a great matrix switcher that is 8 in and either 3 out or 6 out.

That takes care of the sound portion.

Audio by whatever you favorite keypad system might be, using macro strings to switch audio with video.

Actually the KDS 8x3 is a RGBHV, digital audio and analog audio switcher. That is 8 connectors/input and 8 connectors/output. That is enough connectors for Y/Pb/Pr, composite, S-video and analog audio. Substitute digital audio for composite video if you'd like. It has both IR and serial control but ALL connectors are BNC. My only objection is that Key only sells it through distribution. Other than that there is no other product at its level of quality at its price point.

I did not know they made a 8x6.

AudioPatch and Extron make matrix RGB switchers with and without Audio but not at the Key price point.

Guess I should have mentioned Im in Canada
I would love to bypass my distributor and buy direct, with the way our dollar has gone up compared to the USD, the prices on the units have not gone down accordingly. Would be highly beneficial for me to buy direct to take advantage of the savings.

Just a guess: Route 3 inputs to 3 outputs?
Inputs 1-3 to output 1-3
Input 4-6 to output 4-6
Input 7-9 to output 7-9

Elans website didnt say if you could do that... They were real excited when they added the capabiity for the Z880's to track like that... If the bandwidth is there... I would assume they would of iincluded that. However, a 4x3 (16 Inputs.... Could even do 5x4 if you just doing Component video and no audio I guess) for the price they want is kinda rediculous..... a Knox Mediaflex 16 that does 16x16 Stereo Audio and HD Component Video lists at $7500. the 8x8 is $5400
