Hello,

I have a CU-5L remote that appears to be very similar to a Pronto remote. I have scoured the depths of the I ternet and can't seem to locate any software to program it.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

I doubt anyone can help as those were not sold in North America.
Where did you get it?
For years Pioneer bought remotes from Universal Remote in California (not the one in New York called URC). If I'm not mistaken Universal Remote was the company behind Nevo. So there may be a link to Nevo.
There was a tie-in with RTI for a brief time around 2009 so you may want to see if RTI had a similar looking remote.
I can't guarantee any of the above leads as I never saw this remote. I was with Pioneer USA for 30 years and the CU-5l was not sold here.

UEI or Universal Electronic Inc was behind Nevo. Probably the only UEI made pioneer remote was this:

Very similar to OFA remote:

And yes, both UEI & URC uses the prefix urc- in their remote models.

Thanks for correcting the name for UEI. I couldn't remember the right abbreviation.
I'm fairly certain UEI made remotes for products (receivers especially) that weren't learning remotes.
