Client would like a kitchen cabinet door to swing up. A TV will be stationary behind the door. Any black boxes that can control the actuator from a app on a iPhone phone? What actuator can you suggest.

I think it would be easier to just have a small switch feeding the 12v actuator, or use one of the cheap little IR remote units you can pick up on Amazon.

Although a black box solution could be made, iPhone controlled switch connected to a transformer to get the 12v you need?

If it is an rf remote controlled smart tv(Roku, LG,etc?), I guess it must be a smart tv of some sort, if it will be controlled by iPhone… Cheap current sensing switch to actuate the actuator. You would only be limited by how (rf remote or iphone) you turn the tv off and on, not by an app
