We have a new client takeover. Has old AMX system for control and a Homeworks system for lighting and drapery. The AMX system is shot and coming out completely. We are a C4 shop. The Homeworks system with series 8 processor is fully functional. Is there a driver to integrate the old Homeworks system with C4?
To add to this, if no C4 integration with this old processor is possible, can the Homeworks processor be upgraded and keep using the existing modules and keypads, or does the whole thing need to be ripped out?

I am pretty sure Control for has drivers for Homeworks Illumination. The second part of your question is trickier.
- You may (as in maybe) be able to upgrade to QS without replacing everything, but QS is technically outdated now.
- To upgrade to QSX you will be replacing pretty much everything.

With older Homeworks your only upgrade path is to QS. Yes at some point it wil be obsoleted too but at least its still sold. If only Lutron would allow us to use RPMs in QSX you could upgrade straight to that. I dont know why they refuse to give you the option like they do now upgrading to QS even though you have to buy licenses and link translators. For people with homeworks processors that are ticking time bombs alot of people will be hosed once they fully sunset QS.
