Had the first customer interested in one of the drop down mantle mounts. Did some past research and it looks like ComfortVu and MantleMount are the two options available right now. Linear actuator versus a steel cable "winch" setup.

Any preference from the view of an installer?

I've done just one of these -- A MantelMount MM540.

It was scary. It seemed too weak to work, but it's been a year and there haven't been any problems.

What perhaps made it feel flaky was that when it was properly set up, you had to pull down, kind of hard, to move it. That's very counterintuitive. I don't think I'd put one in for myself, but then, I don't want a moveable mount.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I installed customers PDP with this, and then ended up selling many more.

You cannot go wrong with it. After initial adjustment, it moves with no more than a single finger, and is ROCK SOLID.

We've done a number Mantle Mounts and they are good but make sure you add time compared to a regular mount as they do take longer to install and adjust. You do have to make adjustments to them for them to work well but it is documented in the instructions on how to make adjustments. I don't think any of them were perfect out of the box as far as smooth operation without adjusting them.

We've installed two of the Mantle Mounts (3 years ago). They "worked" but I feel they didn't have a nice fit and finish. Had to modify for our use.
Honestly I wouldn't push to sell another. I'd look into others making similar units.
