I used the IR codes from Inteset 422-3 remote and Inteset IReTV USB IR Receiver combination to control Nvidia shield via IR.

Only one issue I am having is - I have Xantech ml95 IR extender system (equipment is in next room) and the IR from Inteset works directly when pointed to the IreTV IR receiver but it does not work, when I try to use the Xantech system (IR emitter from xantech was taped to the IR receiver and yes, it is emmitting IR but shield is not responding). Does it have to do something with the IR frequency being used? I just ordered a 38 khz capable IR emitter. My Xantech ML 95 is 20 khz to 50 khz. The connecting block xantech 791-44 is 30 to 60 khz. I am assuming it is the emitter? Just today, I found an emitter on amazon, which specifically says 38 khz. If anyone know of general purpose emitters which cover 30 to 60 khz, please let me know.
Does anyone know what carrier frequency Shield IR codes use?
My xantech extender system works just fine with Fire TV IR codes.

Do connecting blocks have limitations? Mine is about 20 years old xantech 791-44.
My IR receiver is Xantech ML95.

your emitters are capable of sending the signal from 20 to 100 , so that's not the issue.

If the emitter is not properly positioned, or the wiring is damaged, that could be the issue. You say you know the emitter is good. One easy test is to unplug all emitters from the connecting block except for the one you want to test, and point a remote at the target and press a button. If a talk back light occurs, the emitter is good.

I know that the emitter is good because:
1. It has a red led light, which lights up with IR signal.
2. I put in a new emitter.
3. I have several emitters which are working just fine.
4. I have a IR blaster for the whole equpment and I put the IR receiver of the shield in its range (8 ft) and it still doesn't work.

FLIRC has double bounce problem - for which there seems to be no solution. There had been a software setting solution in the past but latest flirc software does not offer the option for that setting.

connecting block is not the issue if it has worked, and continues to work

Bump: What am I missing, with the IR for Nvdia shield working directly but not working through the xantech IR repeater system? I have tried new emitter which claimed 38 khz (not sure why they wrote the 38 separately!).
The talkbalk led on the emitter shows the system is working. The rest of the IR control system is working fine.
Are all emitters 20 to 100 khz or are there any special higher bandwidth emitters/connecting blocks?
