Anyone familiar with these units. Are they reliable?.

Did you mean DTR 6.5 ? If so, this reciever is incredible, for the money. It makes 'integration' with anything easy.

As far as reliability, Integra is ahead of the game of a lot of others in the same price range. Probably way ahead of the ones in a much higher price range.

The only 'failure' on a reciever that I can recall was a 4 year old 7.1 that had a cap go weak resulting in a 'loss of memory' on the programing of the digital input, componnent input of the programing if the power went out.

There was a problem a couple of years ago for a breif period with the DVD changers, but, with a 3 yr. warranty, they were covered.

All in all, you can install these guy's with a feeling of confidence! Nothing 'dead out of the box'! No supprises. I wish I could say that about everything in this biz. Although, I've read here that Dawn's having a tough time programing Zone 2 codes into a pronto. We do HTM and have't had a single problem. Not with Elan or Zantech IR controls, either. The 232 works well, also.

What everyone has said and then some. We have had Integra for a while, and they are great from an integrators perspective, lots of real world useable features, and if you want to talk about customer service, if you do have a unit that needs an RMA, they EXCHANGE it within SIX months, no questions asked. I tell you NAD could learn a few things from Integra when it comes to making a product for the custom integration market.

They are fine units consistently.

Rare hiccups are taken care of by real people you can talk to.

Try that with Marantz or Denon.

With a 3 year warranty on everything, including CD and DVD players, I don't think you can top them.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

I'm secretly trying to convey my thoughts to these guys!!!!

But I think I'll stick with Integra, regardless of what they do to improve things.
