Has anyone experienced difficulties with the Marantz Multi Zone feature on their receiver? We install Marantz recievers constantly, and about 30% of the time my boss wants us to set it up multi-room. It's not a big deal, except when we hook up the xantech universal interface to the multi rc input, such as now: Marantz 7500 with Xantech IR repeater system for main room (emitter on front). When the multi RC is in use as in with the Xantech Universal Interface (794-50), the front IR receiver will not pick up. Marantz says that the two inputs (front IR receiver and rear multi rc in jack) work independently, but my experience has told me otherwise. Now the problem is we have two other rooms with xantech infrared volume controls connected to the universal interface, but the receiver will not respond to any of the controls sent via multiroom. Any thoughts?

Resolution Found for the above issue. If anyone is curious, read on:

I connected the marantz dv4300 to the sr7500 via the rc5 output jack on the player to the rc in jack on the receiver. With this connected, the receiver signals are received via the dvd player and sent to the receiver for same room control. With the Xantech system (IRVCs, connecting block, universal interface) connected to the multi rc 5 jack on the receiver, this way I can control the receiver from other areas of the house (as far as the multi room controls will let me.)
