Are you asking about dealing with the company or the product?

Been selling them for a while - the 90's sound better than you would expect, the center (180?) is nothing to write home about, the stands and mounts are cool... I don't deal with the company personally, so I can't talk about that part...

we have been dealers for quite a while, nothing but good things to say, fairly easy to deal with on the business side, but don't expect to ever see your rep, they have met with us 3 times in 5 years. great sound, great build quality, great value, easy to sell, good looking, easy to drive. silver S6...our bread and butter.

The product is brilliant. Gold Reference 10's on my shopping list. Easy to sell. Very rarely get any back for warranty issues.

It is my third speaker line, By that I mean it is 3rd favorite. We also sell Triad and MartinLogan which are more important to us. I concerntrate on the MA Silver series and use them to fill voids under $1500 a pair. The MartinLogan "Montage", "Mosaic" and "Clarity" ($1500, $2000 and $2700 respectively) kick the Monitor's Gold line's ass, so we don't support the MA gold. However, if you don't have a line in that price range, the Gold series IS good stuff. Very nice drivers (ceramic) and very respectiable build quality. British phylosophy at moderate prices. We also use it to go up against B&W stuff all the time. IMO, better sounding than most B&W stuff dollar for dollar) as the Monitor Audio doesn't sound as limey.

So if you don't have an exisitng line in that price range (or if your exisitng isn't doing a good job for you) you SHOULD consider Monitor Audio. Our rep is the best - we see and talk to him all the time. But he also reps many other lines we carry.

Also I personally don't care for many of MA's subs. Most if not all, are ported and IMO, boomy (I don't like ported subwoofers in most cases)

Company is decent to deal with too. Ships quickly most of the time.

You should also give MartinLogan a serious look (if it is available in your area. They have many products below $3k and have an excellent line of subwoofers (all below $3k).
Chasing Ernie's post count, one useless post at a time.

Im a big fan of Monitor myself. Not only do they extremely good, but they also dont carry a pretentious price tag. In my opinion, they are one of the more 'pure', greassroots speakers out there. No wild designs or engineering feats, just a good, full sound at a reasonable price.
Gunga.....Gunga....GU-Lunga

And since Ernie won't keep count, I will. Hes up to 249, and counting.
