Client has two Kenwood KM-X1000 Amplifier's. Both units have the XS8 System Control green jacks on them. Is there any way to turn these off and on with the 12V jack on the Sonos Ports?

You could use a voltage triggered power strip to achieve that goal; you'd not use the xs8 at all.

I'm not sure that an external power switch will work with this model. Test this assumption by simply unplugging the unit while operating. Does the unit start up again when power is reapplied?

Next time I am at the clients I will try these suggestions.
The power switch is momentary and not locking so we shall see.

The manual doesn't show anything about voltage but you could also try contact closure with an appropriate cable to see if it turns on.

My mechanic told me, "I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder."
