I left the business during the crash of 2009, and now my old Snap network switch has crashed. Can anyone here sale me a unmanaged 24 port switch for my house? Thanks and I hope everyone is doing well.

Current unit is a AN-100-SW-R-24

Have you checked the power supply output voltage? Network equipment manufacturers use the lowest quality power supplies available. My first check is the power supply voltage. I carry spare 12V 2A supplies because 12V is such a common supply voltage and 2A is usually enough.

It powers up with all of the lights illuminated, and I mean every light.

What's the situation with these supplies these days? Has the industry quit making unregulated supplies, or is the issue solved for you by always using switched supplies instead of wall warts?

Let me point out, in case anyone thinks of testing the suspect supply, that you cannot get a reliable voltage output test without connecting the supply, and you can't get to the wiring since connectors are used. It's WAY simpler to replace a supply than to make your very own Y power cable for testing.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Actually, there are inexpensive devices that will test the supply under load. There are a variety of input connectors and an LCD display. Some will support logging to a phone or pad.

I don’t usually need to go to this trouble because the supply in question will almost always have low voltage and/or ripple, even with no load. I like to confirm a defective supply before replacing it because the complaint is usually “intermittent issues” — caused by low voltage. Without confirming the defective supply, I’d need to hang around much longer to verify that the system is no longer intermittent because I’ve identified the root cause.

Bingo! This makes buying or constructing an actual tester, instead of "fixing" by swapping, worth the time and money.
