Hello, any of you all know a solution where you could replace an existing security keypad with a C4 touchscreen using the existing wiring? The existing wiring is 4 wires for a Honeywell keypad. Is there a way to do POE using that existing wiring with just 4 wires? Is there some other device that would have to be used? Thanks for any help.

Plenty of 2-wire, POE adapters on the market that you can use. DoorBird has one to name a source.

Some C4 touchscreens just need power and then use WiFi.
Not sure about which model your using.
I just came from a site with i believe 8 C4 touchscreens. All on WiFi.

I’ve used this to replace old Crestron cresnet panels aka 4 wires only.

I used a POE injector broke out the wiring via the adaptor and got Poe to the panel. Then used the WiFi on the touchscreen for communication.

So you are just using POE for power and not data, correct?

Thanks for the help everyone.
