Hi guys. I want to spec one of those landscape packages with 4 satellites and burial subwoofer powered by Sonos Amp. Have access to TruAudio, Speakercraft, Origin Acoustics and Snap’s product. Im really concerned that it might be tinny or plasticy sounding. I have a niles landscape speaker myself and not super impressed with the sound. Anyone have opinion on which of these sound best

What are you using to power your Niles speakers?

Ive been using an older Sonos amp to power my Niles. Ive tried other amps (no dsp) Ive just found them to be shrill and overly forward in the midrange

Older Sonos amp is rated at 55w/ch so you need more power.

Unless you meant Sonance…

I have paired the episode’s with a Sonos amp quite a few times & I really like it. More importantly my customers seem to love it. The sub really compliments the 4” speakers. I’ve only done a 4.1 setup.
Knowing that Gold went up a few K makes me think "well now I have to do a better job on selling more equipment".

4.1 with landscape? What are you drinking?

Also, if you are using an AMP, that is rated at 125/250 watts at 8/4 ohms.  OP says he has an older, assumed Connect:Amp, rated at 55 watts/channel, not sufficient.

4.1 ah, in the same breath as Sonos sounds like surround in your average family room.  I haven’t heard an outdoor system referred to as x.x before.

I’ve used Sonance and Snaps 4.1 systems and I think they sound great. Both times they were driven with a Sonos amp. I think they were both comparable to each other. Customers love them.
