Hi Everyone. I wanted to find out if there's a way to change frequency on these remotes so it does not affect other similar remotes. My customer has 4 sony tv and everytime he turns the tv power on downstairs using mx-600, the upstairs sony tv also powers up. If not,
does anybody know the tech support number of the maker of this remote? thanks in advance.

if you need rf in both locations you will need 2 mx-800s as you can not change the adress on an mx 600.The 600 also uses the mfr 100 receiver that will pick up an mx 800 regardless of what adress it is set to.

BCE4,

You can not change the frequency of the remotes. Vincent was correct in suggesting the MX-800 (due to the MRF-250's addressability). However, for the price, I would recommend the new MX-850. It costs about the same and is slightly improved over the 800.

If you need to contact support, you can reach them Mon - Fri, 9 - 6 EST at: (914) 835-4484.

Thank you,
Damon DG
